Earrings - "At Indian Beach"

These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I treated raw brass half-moon connectors with natural ingredients and left them in the open, salty air of the Island. They developed the Grand Manan patina - here, patches of it with faint blue edges. From these connectors I hung more brass dangles ~ open circles and heavily patinated brass ovals. Like natural, earthy chandeliers. On handmade, stainless steel earwires.
Grand Manan Island has many faces and if you ever visit it (or have) you will know its eastern side is different from the west - the north end is unlike the south end - so much variety and so many places to visit. Indian Beach is a very special place on the western side of the Island - remote and very beautiful.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 1 3/4”, 4.5cm.
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
