These earrings were inspired by the best of Mother Nature’s gifts.
COMPONENTS: I holed and hammered brass circles, to help them mimic Mother Nature’s incredible textures. From these, I suspended brass oval connectors with little openings, for more interest. All of the brass components are covered in the Grand Manan Patina - one I achieved by covering them with different natural ingredients, and then leaving them in the open, salty air of the Island. From these dangles hang charming, premium Czech glass faceted little beads, with a bronze Picasso finish. They have a milky-blue hue.
Suspended from stainless steel, handmade earwires. You have a choice here (see last photo):

Ingalls Head Road on Grand Manan Island is a winding route you would take to the ferry to White Head Island. Along the way, you will see charming old homes with worn cedar shakes, gardens filled with plants young and old, and structures, worn over time by the salty wind, whose initial purpose is now long-forgotten. These earrings were inspired by those vistas.
DIMENSIONS: Overall length (from top of earwire to lowest part of earrings) 2 7/16”, 6cm (slightly longer if you pick Option B for earwires).
ADDITIONAL NOTES: Do not submerge the earrings as that may alter the patina. If the earrings get wet, dab the moisture away gently with tissue.
